RS Ystad grundades 1945 i Kåseberga. 1992 stationerades N A Båth i Ystad medan Marie låg kvar i Kåseberga. 2002 flyttades stationen till Ystad och bytte namn till RS Ystad efter att tidigare hetat Kåseberga-Ystad samtidigt stängdes stationen i Kåseberga.
